Posting pretty late in the afternoon, my apologies for that. Those Thursday NFL games are a killer…
The big news of the day came to light only a little bit ago, when the Associated Press reported that Dario Franchitti is headed back to the IRL next season.
So if you ever wondered just how hard the move from open-wheel racing to NASCAR is, now you have an idea.

In fairness, Franchitti was saddled with a second-level team that ran out of funding before the season was even half over. Funding had been an issue all season, since it seemed like Franchitti was running a new paint scheme each week.
